A powerful operational toolkit without a clear product language.
The product needed clearer journeys, stronger information hierarchy and a visual language that could express its functional depth without adding more complexity.
A connected operations platform for crypto-first businesses.
Project overview
Amber needed a product experience that could match the depth of its operational toolkit without overwhelming the people using it.
My role covered discovery, UX strategy, interface design, interaction patterns, the design system and engineering handoff — shaping a clear foundation for a growing fintech ecosystem.

A consistent interface language makes dense financial data, operational tasks and customer-facing transactions easier to navigate across the ecosystem.
The product needed clearer journeys, stronger information hierarchy and a visual language that could express its functional depth without adding more complexity.
I reorganized the core flows, refined interactions across devices and translated the resulting patterns into reusable components that engineering could carry into production.

Key product decisions
Customers, deals, transfers, wallets, terminals and reporting were organized into a navigable model that keeps daily operations legible.
Shared patterns connected desktop administration, mobile asset views and point-of-sale flows while respecting the context of each device.
KYC, KYB and AML touchpoints were treated as part of the product journey, helping regulated actions feel connected rather than bolted on.
Typography, grids, components, states and interaction rules became a reusable design system with development-ready assets.
Product experience

The result
The redesigned product launched with a more coherent experience across operational tools and devices. Reusable components and interaction patterns gave engineering a development-ready foundation the team could extend as new workflows and integrations were added.

Reflection
The value of the work was not a single interface refresh, but the connection between product logic, user journeys and repeatable interaction patterns across Amber's ecosystem.
